Celebrating 5 Years In Business!

Honestly, we could not be more excited!!!
The big day was March 15th, 2022. It is a testament to you, our wonderful customers, that I have been too busy to even post about the big anniversary, which came and went quietly in a soothing cloud of essential oil vapours!
A brief history of SaltZ
My memories of SaltZ&Co over the past 5 years are as numerous as grains of salt. We started by selling epsom salt baths blended with sea salts, essential oils and herbs to local friends as an alternative to the bubble bath culture that promotes bathing in detergent, which can cause dryness and excema especially in children. Then we went online with more offerings, including Dead Sea bath salts and Himalayan pink salt for baths. Next came detergent free, handmade natural soaps - my daughter will always take credit for that suggestion!
From there we expanded, adding popular items like salt based body scrubs and foot care; bath bombs made with skin-loving clays and oils; shower melts; natural creams and butters; Dead Sea facial mud masks, gentle facial toner and more, packaging these goodies into themed, relaxing spa gift baskets. There's always something new in the SaltZ&Co kitchen to surprise and delight your whole family. Our natural home fragrances and the stocking of popular spa accessories just enhances the spa vibe in your home, without the chemicals and additives common to such products.
Thank you for 5 wonderful years
Some of my happiest memories involve the many live markets and shows we've attended over the years, starting with the Evergreen Brickworks Sunday Artisan market, where I got to greet visitors personally and introduce them to our products. Many have become loyal online customers. When the COVID restrictions caused most live events to shut down, we pivoted to an online-only model, and people all over the world began to order from our website and Etsy shop. While the boom has obviously receded now that in-person shopping is once again permitted, we retained many loyal followers. Our new (June 2020) location in East Toronto is the perfect space from which to produce top quality bath and body care products and deliver or ship them all around the country and beyond.
While many businesses will never recover from the pandemic response of the past two years, we have been fortunate to thrive during this period, and continue to focus on how we may best serve you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making SaltZ&Co a success for the past five years. Your dedication to your health and the environment has transcended business and become deeply personal. Your support of our local Toronto microbusiness has allowed our family to stay afloat in these insecure times. Thank you so much, from our family to yours.
